Berlin eastside - these are the two Berlin boroughs of Marzahn-Hellersdorf and Lichtenberg in the eastern area of the Capital. The regional management together with the project partners - the Berlin district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf and Lichtenberg as well as private partners such as ORCO-GSG, DOBA and Knorr-Bremse AG – bundles political and economic forces and represents the interests of the business location Berlin eastside.

The company network Moabit aims at raising the attractiveness of and giving new impulses of development to the location Moabit as an economic and working location in the district Berlin-Mitte. Further companies are welcome to bring in their ideas and experience. ORCO-GSG is an active member in the network.

“Following joint interests” and “Working on the strength of the location” is the aim of entrepreneurs of the company network Großbeerenstraße. Berlin’s second biggest industrial area is situated in the district Tempelhof comprising more than 6,000 employees in app. 250 companies. ORCO-GSG is an active member in the network.

For years, ORCO-GSG is continuously supporting the Berlin Carnival of Cultures – Berlin’s world-wide known top cultural event - with providing all year round about 800 sqm of light-industrial space in the asset Urbanstraße.

The Business Plan Competition Berlin-Brandenburg provides start-ups with free and practical support for developing their business concept and preparing the company for founding. In three phases, the participants develop their business plan step by step from the idea to the financial planning.

ORCO-GSG has been a partner of the BPW for years and supports the initiative by conducting the event "creative network lounge".

The task of the Berlin universities’ founder’s network “B!Gründet” is to support persons from the university interested in founding companies in submitting applications, obtaining grants and subsidies and the founding of companies.
ORCO-GSG has supported the network since June 2008.

An internet portal for founders in Berlin. The network is supporting founders with information, consultancy and events with respect to all phases of the founding process.

The Berlin Chamber of Trades is a public-private corporate and service center for approximately 30,000 companies working in the trades or similar industries. Amongst the services the Chamber provides are specialized consulting and start-up advice as well as support in the solution of operational problems. The Berlin Chamber of Trades promotes training in the trades and monitors the maintenance of statutory regulations and is responsible for the examination of journeymen and masters.

The Berlin Chamber of Trades cooperates with ORCO-GSG in, amongst other things, Haus der WirtschaftsPartner, in the ORCO-GSG-HOF Wolfener Straße. The President of the Berlin Chamber of Trades is one of the patrons of WirtschaftsPartnerTag held there annually.

The IHK Berlin is an organization of companies for companies and acts as their representative for the Berlin Senate, the Berlin Parliament and authorities. It is an organization which assumes its sovereign duties without directives from the government and, in addition, acts as a service provider for the economy, supporting companies in questions or problems. The IHK is a public-private corporation to which all industrial organizations belong - with the exception of craftsmen.

ORCO-GSG cooperates with the IHK in a number of areas such as in the content of lectures or experts for the editing of "hofkurier“. The President of the Chamber of Industry and Trade is one of the patrons of the annual WirtschaftsPartnerTag, organized in conjunction with the ORCO-GSG.

The IBB is the main development bank for the State of Berlin. The focus of its tasks is the monetary economic development of the economy for Berlin's small and medium-sized enterprises. With its offers of monetary support, extensive financial consulting and processing of grants and credit-based on macro-economic criteria, it provides targeted support, primarily for small and medium-sized, technology-oriented companies in Berlin.

ORCO-GSG cooperates with IBB in a number of ways, from the organization of events relevant to small and medium-sized companies to informing customers or tenants about the offerings provided by the other.
