Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf
A city within the city: the district is so exciting and lively, so multi- faceted and culturally endowed like Berlin itself. The former center of West Berlin stretches from the Kurfürstendamm shopping boulevard to the international congress center and the exhibition grounds at the Funkturm. In the district are to be found the Charlottenburg Campus with two universities and numerous research institutes as well as numerous cultural facilities, theaters, opera at the Deutsche Oper and much more.
Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg
The Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district has extensive Wilhelminian style old building quarters with an urban mixture: living and working, art and culture, commercial and small trades, various shopping possibilities and international gastronomy. The inner city location with excellent public transport connections offers optimal conditions for setting-up business.
Lichtenberg
Together with the neighboring district Marzahn-Hellersdorf Lichtenberg with the “Gewerbeband Berlin eastside” has the largest commercial areas in the city and as such offers assured development chances for industry, commerce, production and services.
Marzahn-Hellersdorf
Marzahn-Hellersdorf is young, dynamic and one of the greenest corners of Berlin, has a family friendly neighborhood, a fast transport link into the city as well as a variety of services and shopping opportunities. The district is located only 12 km from the center of the capital in the northeast of Berlin and, like most large industrial style estates, has a relatively young population. The district is a good place to live and work.
Mitte
The district Mitte in the heart of Berlin is the linchpin of the metropolis. Arising from the three former districts of Mitte, Tiergarten and Wedding, Mitte is increasingly attracting institutions and the representative offices of businesses in the capital affiliated to the seat of government, banks, associations, hotels and haute cuisine. Also, the media and advertising industry is well represented in Berlin-Mitte and is a dynamic and important economic sector.
Neukölln
To the southeast of the city, the district of Neukölln is traditionally one of the most important industrial districts of Berlin. Another feature of the commercial and industrial location Neukölln is the broad spectrum of industry, the many innovative companies, the mix of large companies and a large number of small and medium enterprises. In recent years, many companies which earn their money to a considerable extent on the world markets but whose products are also top-placed have settled here.
Pankow
Today's Pankow extends from Alexanderplatz to the northern city boundary and comprises the historical districts of Prenzlauer Berg, Pankow and Weissensee which were merged into Berlin's most populous district following local government reform. The district is as varied as the city itself, the same applies to the Pankow economy.
Reinickendorf
The district of Reinickendorf is located in the northwest of the federal capital and is one of twelve Berlin boroughs or districts. Apart from the abundant supply of lakes and forests the district is impressive both from the point of view of its good infrastructure, attractive business locations, small industrial and occupational structures, and good transport links as well as the surrounding Brandenburg and the Berlin City. Important location amenities are Tegel airport and direct connection to the Berlin-Hamburg motorway.
Tempelhof-Schöneberg
Tempelhof - Schöneberg with its proximity to the city, the government district as well as the hinterland is one of the most attractive business locations in Berlin. Tempelhof, which has developed from rural communities to an urban residential and industrial district, is a highly developed industrial location with a number of major international companies such as Daimler or Gillette. In contrast, Schöneberg with its diverse facilities is regarded as a service location.
