In former times, this building was used for grand scale furniture production. In 1892, the master carpenter and furniture manufacturer Franz Mauff had this Gründerzeit building constructed as factory building. From 1923 on, it was owned by the mattress producer Wilhelm Berg. Today, the brick building with the round arches and the vaulted ceilings is a modern ORCO-GSG industrial complex, right in the heart of Berlin Kreuzberg.
